This website is operated by Unusual Comms Pty Ltd (ABN 69 627 971 233), trading as Tracy Sheen and The Digital Guide. We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, organisation and any message content when you contact us, request a resource or build a document like an AI policy. We do not store your card details. Book purchases are handled by a payment provider (Stripe online, Square for in-person sales or Xero for invoices), who processes your card directly and securely. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, send or build the resources you have asked for and occasionally send updates about Tracy’s work where you have shown interest. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We keep our tool list short and we choose carefully. Running the business and this website means a handful of trusted services touch your information along the way. Here is who they are, what they do and what it means for your data. We would rather tell you plainly than bury it in the fine print.
Some of these providers are based overseas, mostly in the United States. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, including signing data processing agreements where they are offered. Where we can keep Australian data in Australia, we do. Our form submissions sit in Sydney, for example.
We choose tools the way we tell our clients to. Privacy first, security we can point to and Australian where it is practical. We are upfront about the ones that are not, because being honest about the technology is the whole point.
The answers you type into the AI Policy Builder are used to create your PDF and are not stored by us. If you ask for an emailed copy, it is sent to your inbox through our email provider and is not kept afterwards. We do keep the name and email you give us at the download step, so we can send you the occasional practical AI note. You can unsubscribe anytime.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. That includes choosing providers with their own security practices, limiting who can see your information and only keeping what we need.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct anything inaccurate and to ask us to delete your information. To do any of these, email us at tracy@thedigitalguide.com.au.
For any privacy question, contact Unusual Comms Pty Ltd at tracy@thedigitalguide.com.au. We will respond within five business days.
